Excellent program. Very nice. You have to see it in person to believe what you’re seeing on our city roads. We're hoping that this will get us 10 to 15 extra great years out of our city streets. It's a good way to spend taxpayer's money.… Our city council and mayor has been here; they've looked over the procedure with our city manager, and we love it.

The City of Taylor’s experience with Gallagher Asphalt was great. From the professional staff, being upfront, and the ability to get in and get the job done in an expedient fashion made the project to be an enjoyable one. The process that Gallagher brought to the city has proved so far to be very cost effective and we were able to stretch the dollar farther than what was expected; especially in this day and age. Thanks again for a successful project and look forward to working with you in the future.

The City of Portage was looking for a method to improve street pavement conditions with more that just a typical overlay. Traditional “mill and fill” methods were not only costly, but also inconvenient for the residents and motorists. Once we had the opportunity to try Hot in Place Recycling, our finished street product has been a smoother pavement with less reflective cracking. Gallagher came in and handled the entire recycling operation, from traffic control to clean up in a safe and professional manner. We look forward to our next project with Gallagher Asphalt.

In today’s tightening fiscal and environmental conscience environment, Hot in Place Recycling provides the municipality an exceptionally valuable tool for performing road maintenance and rehabilitation. Not only is the process significantly more environmentally friendly then traditional maintenance and rehabilitation techniques but HIPR is also substantially quicker and saves a great deal of money over the more traditional techniques. The city of Mequon considers HIPR to be an invaluable tool for its road program and intends to take full advantage its capabilities in the upcoming years.

The Hot-in-Place Pavement Recycling Process is a proven cost-effective method of rehabilitating existing pavement without the need of removing and replacing with new plant mix asphalt. This particular process involves heating, scarifying, adding liquid asphalt, and re-compacting the existing pavement.

Gallagher Asphalt, the leader in innovative paving in the Chicago Southland, has been utilizing the process of ‘energy efficient paving’ long before it became glamorous. Hot-in-place recycling has been the method of choice for savings for many of our clients, and with the latest economic impacts on the world’s oil markets, the past 20% savings are now pushing 50%. That savings allows us to pave many more miles per dollar invested.

The City of Marquette Heights would like to inform you that the heater scarification work done in our community this year was excellent. We have had this type of road maintenance done in the past by other companies, but not without some type of problem or complaint from our citizens.
The job that your foreman, Ozell Davis, did was very professional. I could tell that he was willing to do whatever it took to make sure the job was completed correctly. Ozell was a very pleasant person to work with. The world needs more people like him. It would be so much easier to do our jobs in public works if everyone had his attitude.
Also, the two men with Ozell were just as conscientious in their work ethics. They were very accommodating, also.
Please rest assured that the City of Marquette Heights will be ready to do business with your firm in the future.

We do roughly 30-35% more streets per year than we did with the old (grind-and-pave) method. We get a lot more for our annual paving dollars with Hot-in-Place recycling.
